The Chameleon is a 23 year-old cultural institution in Lancaster City. Nationally known for it’s commitment to live original music, the Chameleon put Lancaster City on the map in the early nineties as the #2 Music Industry Hot Spot (second only to Seattle Washington), “as one of the greatest places to see live original music and the most promising up and coming bands” according to MTV. With its 10,000 square feet divided into three floors, and seven bars, it is a convenient venue for area music fans to see their favorite artists in an intimate setting.

CI Records was started by Jeremy Weiss in 1989 as a vehicle to release his own music and music by bands he was passionate about. Over time the label has released over 50 offerings from the diverse spectrum of “independent music”, growing from a hobby into a fulltime effort. In addition to being a record label, CI has also opperates one the longest running independent music store in Lancaster PA, in business since 1995.

Mr. Suit is a record store in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, located at 118 West Chestnut Street (right next door to Transcending Flesh). Carrying vinyl (both used and new) in nearly every genre imaginable, we’ll convince you that going to an actual store and scouring boxes of records is way more fun than just buying stuff off the internet.
